They respect Boomers' authority and look to them for guidance, but generally get annoyed with imposed rules. On the flip side, Boomers roll their eyes at the Gen Yers' sense of entitlement but on the similar time admire their spunk and want to encourage their ambition and development. You want someone to always challenge you and help you grow and learn, with out being hostile about it, and that's what these two generations do for each other. I do think issues can get a bit more testy when GenX comes into the combo...
